For tenants, the course covers the expectations placed on tenants, the legal responsibilities of both landlords and tenants, finding a property, different types of tenancies, the process of starting and ending a tenancy and giving up possession of the property.

Developed by the RLA and funded by the TDS Charitable Foundation, the pack provides you with the materials to deliver a course containing all the essential facts about renting a property (If you are a small organisation (like a charity or similar), representing landlords or tenants, and wish to deliver training about renting a property, then our free training course pack may help you).
Maybe you are a small housing association or housing trust, or run a tenants or residents group, and wish to train your members and explain about different aspects of renting a property. The course applies to properties located in England only.
Successful applicants will be able to download a free of charge course pack, including: the course presentation and workbook, a timetable for the trainer, and exercises to put into practice what the delegates are learning.
The licence to use this course will last for 30 days.
